Speckle Rock Vineyards Grand Opening 07/21/18

Speckle Rock Winery, located in Escondido, California, is overjoyed to announce the opening of the tasting room this weekend, July 21st. For the last 4 years, we have been growing and aging our wines. The outcome is spectacular, both our bottled and cellared wines have aged impressively. We are proud of our unique varietal selection and we can’t wait to share them with the public.  Our wine varieties include sauvignon blanc, Falanghina, Clairette Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Grenache, Merlot, Petite Syrah, Carmenere, Sangiovese, and Tempranillo.

Our property is located at 1200-foot elevation and boasts over 23 acres. Our setting is extremely unique and inviting. We aim to create an environment that fosters good times with family and friends. Around our large property, there are valleys lined with trees, ponds, waterfalls and rock features. Our grove features avocado trees, citrus trees and a vegetable garden.

The scenery is extremely vibrant and it complements our wine selection. There are over a dozen picnic areas to choose from on our land.  Each spot is unique and secluded, so your group can find the one that is just right.

This beautiful outdoor landscape is meant to facilitate conversation, peace and serenity. We anticipate you will feel a sense of calm when you walk around our property and we hope you are able to truly enjoy the wines we have to offer. Our space is a perfect getaway for any wine lover, whether they are an expert taster or someone who is just beginning to develop their wine preferences.

Our winemakers and staff are extremely knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions our guests may have. They can discuss our wines, our land, the wine-making process and so much more.
This grand opening event will take place on Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd from 10am to 5pm at 16138 Highland Valley Road, Escondido, California. Come and toast with us in celebration of this new beginning and enjoy food and wine pairings all day.
