This is for when you like mixing the historical with the contemporary. Vail Lake used to be a stopping point of the Butterfield Overland Stage Coach Line. Camping is another popular activity here, along with mountain biking and hiking.

Old Town Temecula

It has been said many times before but it bears repeating: one of the best ways to know a place and gain an appreciation for it is to know its history. Temecula in the past was an important part of the Gold Rush and a visit to this area allows you to see how it once was.

While in this place, take time to look at the shops to know the products Temecula is known for, including olive oil and wine. The antique shops are worth a visit as well if you want some memorabilia.

You’re not going to see ALL of Temecula in just one trip. However, there’s another way of seeing a general overview of the place, and that’s by taking a balloon ride. Doing this gives you a different perspective of the area, one that is from above. As you soar above the sky, don’t forget to look down to spot as many vineyards in Temecula as you can.

Promenade Temecula

A trip to a different place almost always involves some form of shopping or entertainment. The good news is that you’ll find those options at the Promenade. There are flagship stores to explore but there are boutiques worth looking into as well.

In case you want to see a movie, you can catch a flick at the Promenade’s large movie theater. Of course, if all the exploring and shopping made you hungry, you can choose from the variety of dining options the place has to offer.
